Different World

I finished the fourth book in a series about Genghis Khan today, after spilling coffee on it Sunday morning.I really get into historical fiction. If not for a premature heart attack, the Mongols would have taken Italy, France and who knows where else. They had just finished with Hungary and Poland when they stopped and went home because the ruling khan died of heart failure and all of the princes in line for the title were 5000 miles east in Europe. They had taken on every army including Templar knights and nothing had stopped them. Very interesting reading, even though the author adds some theory and leaves some facts out.
